This is the epitome of winter – of Christmas! Cranberries reducing on the stove top while chestnuts roast in the oven. Oh hello Santa!

Hark the Herald Angels sing - "Bring me a Fit Food canape ring"
Yeah, leave the frozen prawn rings in Iceland and thread yourself some fun canapes that have fresh green leaves on them! So easy to do and looks pretty cool too. Perfect for Christmas and the festive season without breaking the bank and your waistline!

Hello Gorgeous
The vibrant, pinky-red hues against the pale green and white skin, bejewelled with edgy, black seeds is, in my opinion, the best-looking fruit around and if there was an award for best dressed/best colour scheme; it would win hands down. Aside from looks, the delicious and unique texture, thirst-quenching like no other, bursting with flavour, and sweet smelling juice holds some of the most precious qualities, making this guy one of the most wonderful in the world.

What is Inflammation?
Inflammation is the body’s attempt at self-protection; the aim being to remove harmful stimuli, including damaged cells, irritants, or pathogens – and begin the healing process. It’s a perfectly natural response to when something harmful irritates a part of us, our body tells us to remove it through the various signs and symptoms. This is especially notable during acute inflammation – for example when you scratch or cut yourself, the area will turn red and swell a little, drawing attention to it so you are more aware of it and also because it is working to heal it.

Now if you read this blog on the regs, you'll see that reviews are something I rarely do. However, I was invited to the launch party of a new veggie/vegan restaurant in the North Laine area and I thought I'd go along to see what was there...
